Obtaining your Credit Reports

To successfully correct the mistakes of your credit, you should obtain a copy of all three of your credit reports from each reporting agency (Transunion, Equifax, and Experian). Each credit bureau is an independent corporation that will have their own rendition of your credit history. Each one could be similar or very different because they are all three different companies. Their information should not be shared amongst one another that is why it is important for you to get a copy from each bureau. As a consumer you are granted one free credit report each year from each of these bureaus. This may be done by mail in which the addresses are provided on this site, or by visiting annualcreditreport.com.
